About Insel Lyr Farm
Since 1990 we have been raising goats and sheep on our small Upper Michigan farm. We have been raising Reg. Shetland sheep since 1992, we are flock #112 of the North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association. Last year we added a White Dorper ram and will in the future have percentage White Dorper sheep along with the Shetlands.

We now have five Arapawa goats, a very rare  breed from New Zealand in danger of going extinct.  Arapawas are a multi-purpose breed--- milk and meat--- and since they were a feral breed should be pretty hardy. 

Donate to the Arapawa Fund to preserve these endangered goats, and/or buy Arapawa goats' milk soap, from Jenness Farm.
